About Femi Kukoyi
Accross the nations of the world, it is exposed to view that many Art lovers treasure the painting grace of a renown Artist, Femi. Femi whose picture appears at the summit of the page is altogether an all-round Artist; An ability which can only be acquired through knowledge of complex process. His drawing and painting skills kicked off when he was a lad. His penchant for Arts was also sharpened under the tutelage of a renown mogul of sculpture and paintings at the University of Lagos, Nigeria called 'Prof.' Aboayomi Babas
His Concept
His concepts are both realistic and abtractic in nature ranging from natural concepts of all sorts such as landscape,seascape to realistic sight pictures which captures the traditions and culture of the African continent .
His Medium
He produces works at the intersection of drawing and paintings in all medium,mostly oil on canvas.His overwhelming research interest is the disclosure of the history of mark-making and layering of meaning. His work aims to articulate both surface reality and underlying meaning.
His Exhibitions
Femi had exhibited his works across the nation soon after his painting career started in 1998. Some of which are represented in public,private and corporate collections . some of his exhibition details ;
Solo exhibition - At the Geobi Gallery, Ikd Rd. Lagos. 1999
Group exhibition - His first outstanding group exhibition with three other renown artist(Roland,Mike and Michael) was at the LAGOS COUNTRY CLUB, IKEJA).

attracted the interest of the media such as AIT, MITV, MBI April 2001

APAPA CLUB in Oct. 2002
